The COIPA Credentialing Department strives to ease the burden of credentialing by contracting with health care insurers and health care facilities to conduct the credentialing process. COIPA practitioners submit a single credentialing application for all COIPA contracted health plans and health care facilities. Real-time credentialing information access
COIPA has operated as a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) in Oregon for over ten years. Our clients include hospitals, surgery centers, health plans, federally qualified health clinics and local volunteers in medicine clinic. We strive to provide excellent and personalized customer service to our clients and practitioners whom we credential. It is our priority to protect the confidentiality of the information we collect from practitioners.
As an Oregon company, we are familiar with Oregon regulations, geography, healthcare issues, licensing agencies and other issues that affect Oregon based healthcare entities, practitioners and patients. We understand that credentialing is crucial to deliver quality healthcare in Oregon. Our credentialing services offer patient safety while protecting the organization in which patient care is delivered.
Our staff is dedicated to eliminating redundancies and increasing efficiency by working directly with the practitioners to make the credentialing process as easy as possible. We appreciate practitioners have limited time and will work to customize the credentialing process to meet our clients’ needs. Our goal is to be competitive and transparent in our pricing. We believe in developing relationships with the organizations we serve and do so with integrity, honesty, innovation and transparency.
